Update 5/29/13 - For those of you who have bothered to ask and for others of you who are no-doubt wondering... HOW the hell do just about every single one of the posts on this blog get so damn long?! Believe it or not, they ALL start out with a FEW paragraphs and then grow into these long stretches throughout weeks of your silence.
Yeah, this blog would NEVER have gotten so long if Twihards hadn't been such cowards in responding to it over the past YEAR and a HALF, now!! (I started it in November 2011.)
I get two kinds of emails - TwiHate mail and "OMG, I'm DYING inside over this TwiObsession" mail. GUESS which emails from which type of Twihard this blog is FAR MORE concerned about?!
For some reason, because it's Twilight... The fight for the privacy
rights
of celebrities is apparently meaningless to it's fans. If this had been
ANY OTHER FANDOM, we wouldn't have allowed this to happen - then again,
if this WAS any other fandom, it wouldn't have happened - not to this
extent, not with such mean-spirited GLEE!
I honestly do not understand your thinking, ladies... If you've ever really LOVED The Twilight
Saga, Kristen Stewart or Robert Pattinson, put your signature where your heart is and SET your BELOVED Actress and Actor FREE by SIGNING!
Every once in awhile, Twihards like to
point out that, "there aren't many people on your blog - and hardly no
one is on your side".

Honestly? I've got a million projects in my life, almost all of them non
Twilight related. I do a webcomic every week, I have a long list of
commissions, and I'm preparing for events in the upcoming weeks. I wrote these
a long time ago, back when I was angry at the world.
Basically, for those of you who are not 'getting' this, Hollywood's gossip mechanisms are doing the SAME thing to NEWLY-obsessing Twihards that long-standing Twihards did to these former/estranged Twilight Fans in 2008/2009 when they were being debunked out of THEIR Twilight obsessions after Breaking Dawn was published - making fun of them and humiliating them.
Do you NOT SEE how these gossip rags are MAKING FUN of us Twihards at the SAME TIME they are harassing Kristen... Laughing at how "crazy" we are... WATCH those hysterically FUNNY young Twilight Fans CRY... Listen to those desperate housewives carry on and on about what an UNFORGIVABLE slut Kristen is...
YES, you feel the SAME WAY (angry and/or heartbroken) WE DID/DO INSIDE about this Robsten stuff - as we felt about what happened with Bella and Edward in Breaking Dawn because WE WERE obsessed, of course. (Even though I am a defunct Twilight MOVIE Fan, I kind of throw myself into their ranks since I appear to be the only - and last - defunct Twihard left.)
Being KNOCKED out of an obsession is PAINFUL!!
Don't believe me? How many 'Anti-Twilight' websites sprouted up after Breaking Dawn was published? How many Robsten vs. Rupsten websites have popped up since this cheating scandal started on 7/24/12? Do a general search - you might be shocked like I was.
Have you visited any Anti-Twilight websites, recently - yeah, many still exist and are active. There have even been dust-ups of extra activity at times, as these 'Robsten' assaults have come down because - not only are they 'Anti-Twilight'; most members are also 'Anti-Kristen Stewart' and/or 'Anti-Robert Pattinson'.
This is another reason why you don't see their support on this blog. No doubt, many of them are CELEBRATING your pain and have had LOTS of fun poking at you all through these scandals.
The kicker IS... YOUR obsessions are probably MUCH more painful, because so many of you have been buried in them for so much longer; AND so many of you are dealing with NEWLY developing/developed Twihard obsessions that are naturally uber-sensitive right now (like the ladies in the Amazon Question/Response below were at one point in time); PLUS, your obsessions are more mixed in with Kristen and/or Robert - NOT just Bella Swan and/or Edward Cullen.
Is it any WONDER why your TwiEmotions are swinging from one extreme to the next?
In defense of those ladies who were so damn MEAN to these anguishing Twihards in 2008/2009 - isn't it AMAZING what an obsession can do to you? And fans still can't 'see the harm' in them.

Twilight should have a NEW army to take it's place against Hollywood's powerful, profitable and well-protected Industry of Celebrity Mistreatment that has pretty much taken this series HOSTAGE in the minds of it's HUMAN FANS using the HUMAN Celebrities they're obsessed with - Kristen Stewart (Bella Swan) and Robert Pattinson (Edward Cullen).
I keep getting told this... "A writer can write WHATEVER they want to, it's "just a story". YOU can't tell Stephenie Meyer or anyone else what or how to write!"
Again, NORMALLY I would agree with you. I am a celebrator of the creative process, and anyone who comes across these novels and has read them - whether they view the writing to be good or not - can SEE how/why Stephenie Meyer wrote The Twilight Saga like she did AND appreciate the creative process of how this story came to be such a blockbuster phenomenon.
There are MANY 'beautiful' things about the story - too beautiful, too unrealistic, too far outside of the lines to maintain a reasonable suspension of belief for the MAJORITY of people in this world.
THIS is the problem: Ever since this saga became a hit, people have been talking about the seriously (if you haven't read them yet, then you CAN'T tell me I'm wrong about this point) BAD WRITING and especially bad writing for young girls.
And they were right about that... The bad writing is what got everyone hooked into Twilight, but it is the BAD STORYLINE ending that caused so many OLDER Twilight Fans, especially, to become SICK beyond our casual use of the word 'obsessed' in the head.
In addition, Twilight Fans both young and young-at-heart have had to defend themselves and their beloved fairytale from constant and unruly ridicule since these books started to be made into movies.
Before Breaking Dawn was written & published, people were ALREADY talking about the shallow characters, bad writing and addictive nature of the series. But after Breaking Dawn was published, that's when the serious divides happened...
I would bet my entire life savings (which admittedly isn't much, but it's alot when it's all you have) that The Twilight Saga WOULD NOT have been made into MOVIES IF Breaking Dawn had been published BEFORE they started making them into movies; AND not ONE professional publisher would have published all four books like that if they had KNOWN from the beginning how BAD it was going to turn out - NOT EVEN Little, Brown and Company.
I'm going to go so far as to say, that The Twilight Saga WOULD NOT have gotten as far as it did with ALL FIVE movies being made IF Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson hadn't SAVED this series by actually making it WATCHABLE and INTERESTING for us.
And this is how we allow the World, HOLLYWOOD and our fellow Twihards even, to treat them.
COME ON, SNAP OUT OF IT, LADIES!!!
I know there are alot of you TwiLadies out there who are also angry about how these Hollywood PR assaults have come down around Kristen and Robert, and I'm pretty sure you know why so many TwiLadies are, and have been, so hard on them.
But to not be able to do the right thing and hold Hollywood responsible for bashing at your emotionally-invested daughters - JERKS who have brought both them AND you to tears again and again...
I know this explanation won't help most of you, and those it does help appear to want to side with the majority - there have been too many TwiRipples and everyone just wants them to stop.
When the tabloids stop is when it will stop. And when they stop, I'll stop - not a second earlier.
Why?
Because it's ALL WRONG, and you TwiLadies who can read through this and plainly see what's wrong and what happened with these books and how they were written are not doing the right thing by ignoring this issue.
LOOK what all has happened with Twilight and ALL of the actors involved with it from the beginning; and then tell me why all this is Okay using things like reason, logic and common sense in the mix.
You do not have to hate the way Stephenie Meyer wrote The Twilight Saga like I do, to NOT appreciate the HARM that has been piled onto people - many of them innocent little girls who had no reason to see Twilight any other way than how Stephenie wrote it.
What did THEY do to deserve these kinds of emotional Hollywood PR Assaults?
And you older TwiLadies who were/are so angry with Kristen because your INTENSE Twilight Obsession was shattered to smithereens when those cheating photos were published are NOT THIS UGLY inside, that's IMPOSSIBLE!!
All these things add up to what Twilight did to us.
The more I think about it, the more absurd the idea of this happening is to me. It seems to me that there may be something legal that can be done - if only from *my* perspective since the rest of you are remaining so tight-lipped and/or incapable of comprehending the horrors of this situation.
Anyway, I just wanted to answer this question for those of you who keep insisting this is all 'just a story' - Twilight is obviously not now nor has it EVER been 'just a story' for so many people.
If you're someone who is not now nor has ever been overly-obsessed with The Twilight Saga, count yourself LUCKY. For the rest of you who are in denial that they exist or that there is anything harmful about them - you can start here and here with these comments I've collected.
Another GREAT source for evidence of HARMFUL Twilight over-obsessions can be found within the comments of many of the articles along the side of this blog.
It is in the COMMENTS of these articles where you find the story of Twilight's blockbuster ride, NOT in the articles themselves. The articles just get the conversations going.
Yeah, the book is still coming out - but, I'm stuck at Chapter 12 in reading through Twilight. In the WORST WAY, I do not want to read Chapters 13 & 14 about Stephenie's stupid, sparkly dream - and these are the chapters that contain the basic transcript and the beginning of her silly sexual fantasy.
In the meantime, this 'Questions' article for Steph is the next best thing. A book doesn't really NEED to come out - this blog has plenty of information about this subject to blow anyone's mind.

OK ....really this is fine on long enough....leave Stephanie, Kristen and rob alone... It was a story that turned into a movie then into a night made..lets attack this person and that person as it is there fault...in reality it is no ones fault we are all humans and make mistakes.. Enough is enough
