Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart both take lots of hits from fans and anti-fans because they really seem to bomb interviews, sometimes. Robert especially can act like a goofball with nothing but vague responses about his personal life - but he can sure get into details about his professional life, can't he? (Which most fans LOVE about him!)
While at Cannes, Robert was hit especially hard over this in tabloid comments (and for his recent interview on TV with Jimmy Fallon). HE is as uncomfortable doing interviews as Kristen is because they have to be so careful about what they say in order to NOT 'accidentally' incite TwiRiots through their words that tabloids manage to twist around in mean ways for money. Turning into a big goofball is Robert's very-natural tactic around that.
If they had the FREEDOM to be HONEST about their personal lives without so much tabloid interference; I'm willing to bet that they would be more comfortable sharing bits & pieces of themselves with fans.
Oh yeah, it is NORMAL for a Taurus to be a goofball - they can't take ANYTHING seriously (that you want them to); it's infuriating for an Aries, LoL! The only way Rob & Kris's relationship COULD have worked is if they spent lots of time both apart and together throughout the year. Just because they didn't live on top of each other 24/7 all year long is the reason why *I* think they probably got along pretty well.
That is probably also one of the main reasons why they finally broke up (they tried, they both get lots of credit for that) - Kristen had probably had it with tabloid rumors; and after where he had just come from - he wasn't remotely interested in paying attention to them. He just wanted to do his thing and not have to worry about any of it.
But, it just kept getting worse and worse, didn't it? And those damn rumors about him and Katy Perry kept going on and on and on. Robert didn't have to 'go through' or 'deal with' all the previous trial-separation rumors that were going on while he was kajillions of miles away Down Under filming The Rover.
Sounds to me like Kristen finally gave up; and Robert gave up long before she did. They're still at least semi-friends. Don't let anyone tell you otherwise. They don't have a good enough reason to be bitter enemies in an acidic environment like Hollywood where you need every ally you can get. ;)
No, I'm not hung up on Astrology signs - it's just that the dynamic of Kris & Rob's relationship has always reminded me of mine (except I can't IMAGINE my ex-Taurus hubby being an actor, ha!). Not to mention, Kristen could just as well have been me when I was that age - minus the 'famous' part. I've heard other Aries' chicks stick up for Kristen for the same reason on the boards. Yeah, alot of us can SO relate to her. We're HOT and so damn WORTH the extra trouble. ;)

This is a current rumor up on HL, and this is the image they decided to use with it. Do you remember the original article about them 'actually touching' at Coachella last year? (Which is where this image came from.)Yeah, they BOTH go WAY out of their way to 'not look good' for the paparazzi. For instance, they both dress like hobos, try not to smile and have a hat and/or 'designer' glasses on (especially Kristen - but Rob wore them for awhile too shortly after they reunited. Plus, I'm pretty sure - correct me if I'm wrong - those glasses came out AFTER the scandal, didn't they? The sunglasses are always a hit with celebrities.)
Remember when Daniel Radcliffe wore the same clothes for six months because 'There's nothing better than seeing a paparazzi get really frustrated'?
AND, I can't imagine that Robert wears all
those hats because he is a 'hat guy' (just because he doesn't always wear them, like the glasses - I bet they are not his favorite thing. Kristen always got ‘hit’
for wearing ROBERT’S hat. I BET that had some sort of ‘hat board’ by the door
and they just grabbed one on the way out. They were probably interchangeable
for both of them, ha!
The only time you see either of these two
cooperating with the papz is when they are on the red carpet or attending some
other Hollywood event. Kristen almost ALWAYS dresses down immediately after the
event - while continuing to hang out at the after parties - JUST SO the papz
don't get anymore pics. After she has fulfilled her promotional obligations for
the evening - they don't get anymore good ones. :)
It didn’t really matter if Robert didn’t
change after events – if only ONE of them changed (or just didn’t plain ‘ol
dress up – sometimes IT WAS Robert who did this), that would cut down on their
profits. If she had remained dressed up after functions they both attended, the
papz would probably have made WAY more money off of the ‘together’ images that
they did capture.
Because her FANS don't care, they just want
to SEE HER - which is WHY she does it, because she LOVES YOU. But, she doesn't
give a rats butt about the papz, ha!
That is also another reason WHY they keep
writing all these mean things about her - THAT is the ONLY WAY they can make
any REAL MONEY off of her (OR Robert) because they have both been so STINGY
about sharing their private lives with them because they have been SO MEAN to
them for SO LONG.
Less money for the papz EQUALS them not
liking her/them very well. They certainly KNOW that she (in particular, but so
does Rob) does it JUST to minimize THEIR profits off of HER image.
Would YOU like her if your JOB was to capture
decent pictures of Kristen OR Robert - and ESPECIALLY one of them 'together'
preferably with PDA? Damn kids JUST WON'T COOPERATE, boohoo!!! The image above
